Ingredients

Classic Spinach Artichoke Dip
  • 1 package  (10 ounce ) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and thoroughly drained
  • 1  can (14 ounce ) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup  sour cream
  • 1/2 cup  mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in the drained spinach and chopped artichoke hearts until evenly distributed throughout the creamy mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly around the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top. Let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese melts. For more color, you can briefly place it under the broiler.
  8. Garnish with a light sprinkle of paprika before serving.
  9. Serve with: Tortilla chips, sliced baguette, or pita chips.
